        Summary
Due to climate change, there is an expected increase in drought and extreme heat events. Currently, the effects of severe drought and heat in New Orleans at a local scale are limited studied. The impacts of drought are often an insidious process and therefor sometimes difficult to identify. By mapping all drought and heat related impacts and exchange the experiences between the Netherlands and New Orleans, adaptation strategies can be made to make New Orleans more climate resilient.
