        Summary
        Is it possible in Almere? An analysis based on a intern survey, on the influence of job satisfaction, individual- and function characteristics on the job mobility of the employees from the municipality of Almere. This study examined the influence of job satisfaction, individual- and function characteristics on the job mobility of the employees from the municipality of Almere. Hypothesis from each characteristics where derived from the hygiene-motivation theory, the human capital theory and new institutionalism. Analyses were based on 635 respondents from an intern survey. No evidence was found to support either theories for the influence of satisfaction, individual- and function characteristics on the job mobility of the employees. Suggestions for further research and implications for public policy are given.
