Ancova’s tested if there was a difference in evaluation scores between different sickness absence groups. Hierarchal multiple regression analyses tested if an evaluation score in a former year had influence on absence duration and frequency a year later. Results found a negative relation between results based evaluation absence frequency a year later in two of six years. And found a negative relation between results-based evaluation and sickness duration a year later in one of six years. These results indicate that there is possibly a relationship between evaluation and sickness absence. Further research is needed to endorse these findings.
