Requirements for CPC localization during anaphase

Abstract

The Chromosomal Passenger Complex (CPC) is involved in both mitosis and cytokinesis. This thesis gives an insight in its localization and functioning in eukaryotes, and what happens if localization and / or functioning is defective. Regulation of the CPC is conserved among eukaryotes, so different model organisms are used to study the CPC and its role in diseases, including cancer.
