dc.description.abstract | The Chromosomal Passenger Complex (CPC) is involved in both mitosis and cytokinesis. This thesis gives an insight in its localization and functioning in eukaryotes, and what happens if localization and / or functioning is defective. Regulation of the CPC is conserved among eukaryotes, so different model organisms are used to study the CPC and its role in diseases, including cancer. | |
