        Summary
        Urban controversies are becoming increasingly important subject in urban planning, as they can seriously disrupt plans. Within recent years, urban controversies have also started to become prevalent in urban planning in Hong Kong. This thesis focusses on one of these controversies, the Central & Wan Chai reclamation project. It describes this project from an Actor-Network perspective to find out exactly how this controversy evolved over the years and how this conflict changed they way urban planning works in Hong Kong.
