The History of a Historia: Manuscript transmission of the Historia Ecclesiastica Tripartita by Epiphanius-Cassiodorus

Abstract

This thesis provides a survey of all existing manuscripts of the Historia Ecclesiastica Tripartita by Cassiodorus, and makes an attempt at reconstructing this text`s transmission in its historical context. It is a preparation for a PhD which will focus on the reception of the Historia Tripartita.
