        Summary
        This study examined the effects of different aspects religion on depressive and grief symptoms after a loved one passes away. By method of conducted survey, data were collected from 210 university students. Religiosity was measured through five subscales (religious participation, religious coping, religious participation, spirituality and general religiosity) which were then examined in relationship to levels of grief which was measured by the Texas Revised Inventory of Grief (Trig) and depressive symptoms, using the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D). Analyses included linear regression analysis: they showed a positive relation between religious coping and depressive symptoms and a negative relation between spirituality and depressive symptoms.
