        Summary
Background: the aim of this current study was to analyse the influence of parents and youth on the Centre for Youth and Families (CJG). Method: this is examined by needs assessments of 49 municipalities in the Netherlands. Besides that, in-depth interviews were hold with seven officials of 49 municipalities and there were nine descriptions analysed of a parallel CJG research (2010). On base of the Parent Participation in Commissioning Matrix there has been studied in how far youth and parents had influence on the CJG and there has been structurally evaluated the influence of the youth and parents on the CJG. A survey of 89 clients has been done in five of the 49 municipalities. Results: the results show that in 67,9% of the municipalities a needs assessment on CJG has been done. There are found similarities and differences between youth and parents on their needs and expectations of a CJG. Youth and parents had influence on the CJG, but the municipalities scored negative on structural evaluation of the CJG. In general 94% of the clients were satisfied with the CJG. Conclusions: this current study showed that youth and parents had influence on the CJG. But it is still unclear in how far youth and parents have influence in a structural way on the CJG.
