In this thesis the retrieval of 3D object information from a single moving camera in a railway environment is investigated. We explore three different methods that involve estimating depth from sequences of images and compare it with point clouds and annotated 3D data: pseudo-LiDAR, Structure from motion (SfM) and 3D object detection.
