        Summary
This research focuses on finding out how COVID-19 affects the importance of the presence of high-tech knowledge workers in the Brainport region of Eindhoven and what this means for its future development. Through qualitative research methods such as desk-research and in-depth interviews, the research was conducted. Interviews were therefore held with various policy makers, companies and foreign knowledge workers in the region. The results of the research show that the COVID-19 pandemic has little or no influence on the presence of foreign high-tech knowledge workers in the region. In addition, for the future development of the region, this means that the flow of knowledge migrants will continue, so policy makers in the region need to respond appropriately.
