This study also investigates if number of work hours and education level of the parents have a moderating effect on this relation. A survey was conducted among 133 Dutch dual-earners couples with children in the age of 0 - 12. The findings suggest that work experience is related to psychological availability. Besides these positive findings there is no influence of work hours and education level on psychological availability.
