Economic dynamics in the Perak Diamond: a consideration of functional polycentricity

Abstract

The thesis seeks to analyse economic dynamics in the Perak region, in Malaysia. It does so by observing patterns of specialization and diversification of urban centers and focusing on industries' relatedness and inter-firm cooperation.
