Deconstructing the Sex/Gender-Segregated Sports World

Abstract

Deconstructing the essentialist and binary presumptions on which the sex/gender-segregated world is founded, by taking on a radical social constructivist perspective on sex/gender. Thereby, this thesis is an attempt to convince the reader about making the sports world more inclusive for groups of people that fall outside this binary sports world, such as transgender/transsexual and intersex people.
