        An exploration of the character Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher, throughout his history, starting at the comics in the 70s, leading up to and including the Netflix Original Series Marvel's Daredevil. Castle is the embodiment of the mediation of American identity, specifically in times of crisis such as the 80s and the 00s.
