dc.description.abstractThe main question this study sets out to answer is to what extent large media conglomerates such as YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and SM Entertainment are involved in shaping the K-Pop movement and how big their influence on the American/Korean hybridization process of the Korean cultural market is. Also, how can this information be used to analyze the contemporary American cultural transfer debate.
