dc.description.abstract | Of Mice and Men is a critically acclaimed novel by John Steinbeck. While this novel has been translated into other languages, including Dutch, only one Dutch translation of this novel has ever been produced. Sadly, the quality of this translation by Clara Eggink leaves much to be desired. In this thesis, the many faults of Eggink's translation will be argued, and an alternative, better translation method will be suggested. | |
