dc.description.abstract | We try to determine which rational functions are the generating function of a sequence satisfying the so-called Gauss congruences. A characterization in the one-variable case is given by G. Minton in 2014. We provide a simpler proof of this result, and work towards a characterization in the multi-variable case. | |
