Framing the world in Dabiq: the propaganda of the Islamic State

Abstract

This thesis analyses the propaganda by the Islamic State in its online glossy magazine publication Dabiq. It does this using the theoretical concept of framing. IS' propaganda is divided into themes and steps in the framing process.
