C.S. Lewis has written many works on a multitude of topics: his fictional works about Narnia are known across the world. Many of his non-fictional, apologetic works have been translated into various languages. Among these works, there are some that have not been translated yet. This BA thesis aims to give a translation of C.S. Lewis's 'The Discarded Image'. By analysing the source text through a variety of translation theories, a translation-oriented text analysis is given. Based on the results of the analysis, a passage from 'The Discarded Image' has been translated.
