Changing energy demand in the residential sector due to decentralized generators and the electrification of heating and driving
Summary
The increasing implementation of decentralized generators combined with the electrification of heating and driving causes a shift in energy use within the residential sector. A high degree of decentralized generation could cause problems with the reliability of supply and the efficiency of the grid. Therefore insight in future energy demand is required. This thesis performs a case study of the Netherlands towards 2030.
