Translation of Wide Sargasso Sea

Abstract

In this thesis I have looked at the translation problems of Wide Sargasso Sea and I have provided my own translation of a part of the novel. I have discussed the translation problems according to Nord's theory, which I also used for my own translation. Next to that, I have also looked at the existing translation of Wide Sargasso Sea and compared it to my own translation.
