Immortalizing death: the effects of the exhumations of republican war victims on individual and collective memory in Spain (2000-2013)

Abstract

This thesis will research the effects of the exhumations of republican war vicitims for individual and collective memory in Spain. More specifically, this thesis will research how the exhumations have transformed the communications between memory makers, memory users and discursive objects.
