        Summary
In ‘Western’ media Uganda seems to be at the forefront of this anti-gay movement because it is the first country to actually illegalize homosexuality. This interdisciplinary study will focus on the increasing anti-gay perceptions, which we term the ‘anti-queer morality’, in Uganda. This study addresses the following question: How can the increasing anti-queer morality in Uganda be explained? This study was conducted through interdisciplinary research methods. In this study disciplinary insights (from both Religious Studies and Human Geography) are included which eventually led to an integrated answer to the main question. This integration of different disciplinary insights will provide a more comprehensive understanding of the issue.
