dc.description.abstract | This paper summarizes the research done for a bachelor thesis at the Molecular Biophysics
department of Utrecht University. In the research, the tumorous skin of hairless mice will
be scanned in vivo by a microendoscope to generate Two Photon Fluorescence- and Second
Harmonic Generation spectral images. The images will then be analyzed to determine whether
they can be used to discriminate between healthy and tumorous tissue. The setup is powered
by a ultrashort pulse (140 fs) Titanium Sapphire Laser. | |
