dc.description.abstractThe value of smart meters cannot be defined by conventional methodologies as these methodologies are tailered to generic systems, this while smart meter systems are configurational systems. A new value case methodology is developed to not only be able to determine the value of a configurational system, but also to guide the incorporation of the benefits in business models.
