dc.description.abstractIranian-American relations have been strained for over 30 years now, but the ambivilence of the Iranian people towards american intentions go back way further. This paper explores the historic relations between the two countries from ww2 onwards and tries to explain current-day problems involving this relation using historic developments as a guideline.
