This pilot-study was conducted to investigate the program implementation and effects of EQUIP on students’ moral orientation and experience of the group culture in a prevocational secondary school. The study uses a pre-experimental design with a pre- and post-test. Participants were 40 students (aged M= 13.17, SD=.50 years). Paired t-tests were used to examine the change in moral orientation and the experience of group culture. Two groups were distinguished: a group with a relatively high and a group with low program integrity. The results show a reduction in the punishment-based orientation only for the group with low implementation quality. For the experience of group culture a reduction was found for getting help and support in all groups. For giving help and support an increase was found for the total group and the group with high implementation quality. Repeated measures analysis were used to examine whether the changes are related to the quality of the program implementation. No significant relation was found between the change in moral orientation, experience of group culture and implementation quality of EQUIP.
