dc.description.abstract | This thesis analyses the theoretical field of Game Studies and the practice of Game Design and Development and seeks out to explore how a constructive relationship takes place and can be advanced. It uses the field of dramaturgy as a conceptual meeting point for the two in a creative practice. By contrasting some of the critical qualities of dramaturgy with the current relationship between theory and practice, it tries to understand how this relationship takes place and how it can be advanced towards a productive synergy through the concept of dramaturgy. | |
