dc.subjectThe aim of this research project was to conduct a needs assessment among healthcare providers to determine their needs regarding sick day rules (temporary discontinuation of certain medication during sick days) to prevent acute kidney injury in community-dwelling patients. Interviews were conducted with the various healthcare providers involved in care for these patients to gain insight into the necessary patient education, the process of notification and medication management plans.
