In this study, we developed a protocol for isolation and ex vivo activation of human CD69+CD103+ TRM cells from healthy lung tissue. Using our optimized protocol, we purified TRM cells from five human lung tissue samples and profiled the transcriptomes of both resting and ex vivo activated TRM populations by RNA-sequencing.
