dc.subjectA thermostat method is proposed which is a variation on the well known Nosé-Hoover thermostat method. This method turns out to be a Poisson-system and the flow can be approximated numerically by a Poisson integrator. The method is then applied to the harmonic oscillator and the FPUT-problem.
