dc.subject | Cohomology is a tool which is used across mathematics. Cohomology theories such and singular and De Rham cohomologies and invariant on topological spaces and manifolds respectively. Sheaf cohomology generalises these theories, which we introduce in this thesis. We conclude the thesis with a proof of the De Rham theorem, which states that the singular and de Rham cohomology of a manifold are isomorphic; to sketch potential applications of this theory. | |
