dc.subjectIn this thesis, we setup knots tangent to the Martinet distribution as well as ways to classify them. We introduce definitions of Martinet knots, projections and homotopies. With these definitions, we setup a generic set of 'nice' Martinet knots and obtain the Reidemeister moves. Then we conclude with the classical invariants and a discussion on an interesting invariant.
