We give a mathematical foundation of quantum information theory and build upto show the equivalence of three representations of quantum channels: TP-CP maps, the Stinespring representation and the Choi-Kraus representation. We start witha foundation in linear algebra and tensor algebra. From there, we explain notationand definitions used by physicists. Lastly, we end by giving a theorem that has thisequivalence as above and we show it to be true.
