Study of a thiol-ene click probe to detect crotonylated lysines on proteins and histones. Crotonylation is an emerging PTM implicated in various diseases and cellular pathways since its discovery in 2011. However, studies still rely on antibody-based detection, which has reported issues with selectivity. This is the first attempt at using this approach to detect crotonylation.
