dc.description.abstractIn this project, we develop a concrete theoretical proposal for the bosonic Kitaev chain that is based on interacting spin systems/nanomagnets. We then study the non-linear dynamics of the model, the chiral spin transport through the chain and other related models.

dc.subjectIn this thesis we defined a spin version of the bosonic Kitaev chain and study its dynamics by performing a linear Holstein-Primakoff transformation around the ferromagnetic ground state. Moreover, we defined a new model by linearising around the non-collinear ground state.
