dc.subjectIn this work, the in silico design of photo regulatory probes for the T. cruzi trans-sialidase and the progress on the synthesis thereof is reported. Photoswitchable inhibitors have become of interest to medicinal chemists due to the bio-orthogonal properties of visible light. Docking studies and (TD-)DFT calculations were performed to predict probe affinities and their photophysical properties.
