dc.subject160 fossil molars of Prospalax priscus from Ridjake, Serbia were studied. They are from the upper Pliocene, to be precise Neogene Mammal Zone 16 (MN16). Using morphological characteristics, Prospalax priscus was compared to other species within Anomalomyinae, and a maximum likelihood phylogenetic tree was constructed.
