dc.subject | Aim of this study is to examine the availability of inverse scope interpretation in doubly-quantified sentences in Greek, and to investigate how inverse scope availability correlates with the different word orders in Greek, i.e., SVO, VSO and VOS. In order to answer this question, the covered box paradigm was employed. Our findings showed that Greek speakers generally accept inverse scope, although it is not the most preferred reading. | |
