For patients with metastatic spine disease, the SINS and Bilsky scores are used to evaluate the (in)stability of the spine and spinal cord compression. However, no treatment recommendations are provided by these scores. GSTSG, MTRON, and PRESENT registries contain data from approximately 1000 patients with metastatic spine disease. This article sought an answer to the question wether the SINS & Bilsky scores can be used to predict the quality of life of these patients.
