dc.subjectThrough my fieldwork in the Illasi Valley (Italy), I investigated why Italy is a leader in organic wine production. Stories about history, family, and the importance of food provided an exciting insight into the identification process of the organic wine producer. Methods from the past appeared to be still used. What had once been learned within the family was still being used. Different stories of organic wine producers were found to be corresponding.
