dc.subjectAdolescents are influenced by their perception of what is normative in their peer groups. Adolescents with higher externalizing problems are especially susceptible to peer influences. The current study aimed to examine how the perception of negative peer norms influences adolescents with higher externalizing problems to engage in more negative risk-taking and less prosocial risk-taking.
