dc.description.abstractThis thesis discusses the status of the building of mosques in the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, before and after the muslim terrorist attacks of the early 2000s. It compares how the countries deal with the building of mosques and the factors that can influence the reaction to mosque building in the five countries.
