Osteoarthritis can cause lameness in dogs, furthermore it is one of the most common chronic musculoskeletal diseases in dogs. Sialyllactose is an acidic oligosaccharide, which can be found in human milk. It consists out of lactose and sialic acid. Sialyllactose has multiple effects on: intestines microbiota, glycosylation processes, resistance on respiratory and gut pathogens
