The concept of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) has the promise to change travel behaviour of people by making it easier to use sustainable modes of transportation by integrating them in one digital interface. But since MaaS is a relatively new development, if it can fulfil its promise remains unclear. Using literature and five case studies, this study aims to assess to which extent the concept of MaaS contributes to sustainable mobility transition away from the car as the prime mode of transportation.
