dc.subjectFear of missing out (FOMO) refers to the distressing feeling one perceives when excluded or socially separated. In particular, the distress caused by the perception that networking opportunities are missed or project information is not shared refers to workplace FOMO. This study aimed to investigate the antecedents of workplace FOMO, namely the HEXACO personality traits and self-construal, and explore whether gender played a moderating role in this relationship.
