dc.subjectPast research has identified internalized homophobia, the introjection of negative societal attitudes about sexual diversity, as an important predictor of mental health outcomes among sexual minority groups. This study examined the theoretical underpinnings of the link between internalized homophobia and psychological wellbeing through investigating the mediating role of identity integration, basic need satisfaction and basic need frustration.
