dc.subjectThis research aimed to gain more insight into these effects in young adulthood, so that couple therapists can help couples better in practice. This research addresses to what extent relationship-contingent self-esteem (i.e., self-esteem that is dependent on the relationship) moderates the relationship between the experience of the infidelity of a partner on the one hand and self-esteem and jealousy on the other hand.
