dc.subject | Non-linear media causes many interesting physically based effects in nature by bending the trajectory of photons. Ray tracing non-linear media with the effect of multiply scattered light is a difficult problem to solve efficiently. This master thesis shows that with the use of Virtual Ray Lights, stochastic lightcuts, and some slight adaptations to the original implementation non-linear media can be rendered more efficiently than previous state-of-the-art. | |
